The Artist Residency

Achieving equilibrium between accommodation and art project, The Jennings Hotel artist residency program aspires to encourage and facilitate the actualization of creative projects in the visual and performing arts. By offering a discounted weekly rate to artists advancing finite works, we hope to provide a space that will disrupt routine and buoy practice by inspiring expansiveness & contemplation through geography, community and friendship.

Artists in residence will have a private room in The Jennings Hotel, use of our sauna and shared kitchen.

We kindly ask that participants of our artist in residency program contribute a piece from their time in Wallowa County to our permanent collection. To send a project proposal or learn more, please email us

For writers and poets interested in spending time in Wallowa county, we suggest reaching out to Fishtrap, our local literary arts organization.
